We are finally on a "sort of" lockdown? We are now only allowed to go out for: shopping for basic necessities, one form of exercise a day, medical needs, work if only absolutely necessary. This is in place for a minimum of 3 weeks when they will review and enforce for longer if needed.

I've spoken to my dept and bosses and they've said to stay home. I don't have a laptop so can't work from home, though it looks like they will be recalling them for the more important people anyway. Guess I can do my own thing for 3 weeks!

It is scary times but I'm not panicking. I am a little anxious about not being able to read my work emails as I know people are relying on me, but I guess if this is affecting everyone then things at work will be put on hold anyway. At least I know now I shouldn't go in, as I was planning to tomorrow for a few hours!

I am happy we are still allowed out for walks. I went out for one at lunch today and found some lovely sights not far from my house, like this:

90534488-10218374079601175-3036311504816177152-o 90657704-10218374078841156-5300865095037878272-o

So I think I will make a special effort to go for a walk every now and then so I can at least enjoy the sunshine, as long as there's not many people around.

I was so looking forward to summer!

I'm going to make sure I get my walks in too so the cabin fever doesn't drive me crazy. I'm not a Boris voter, but I am happy he allowed for the one walk.

Working from home is taking some getting used to.
